Lindy Supports Future Fisherman Foundation

Back To Press Room

Lindy Legendary Fishing Tackle has joined forces with the Future Fisherman Foundation (FFF) to help foster the sport of fishing for generations to come.

"Lindy believes in the foundation and its programs, and felt that as a leader in the fishing industry, we should do our part to help introduce the next generation of anglers to the sport," said Dan Johnson, Lindy's public relations manager.

To that end, the company is offering FFF-accredited educators—including Physh Ed teachers, Boys and Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts leaders and state agencies—premium Thill Fish'n Foam and Round-A-Bout bobbers at significant discounts. New for 2010, the lineup of colorful foam and plastic floats is available in a variety of shapes and sizes perfect for panfish and other youth-friendly species.

"Thill bobbers will certainly help our teachers as they give kids hands-on fishing experience," said executive director Keith Sutton. "Since its inception in 1986, the foundation has provided fishing education programs for more than 1 million children nationwide. This wouldn't be possible without the generous support of companies like Lindy and the customers who buy their products. Working together we can continue that tradition and ensure today's kids are tomorrow's anglers."
