No-Snagg, No-Problem!
I wanted to write and thank you for making your Lindy "No-Snagg" sinkers. I
was recently in Canada fishing a section of the Saskatchewan river. We were
dragging leeches in 23 feet of water, along the edge of the channel. The
bottom consisted of sand, rocks, logs, and many other jagged objects to hang
up on. No problem, considering that fact that I fished the whole week with
the same "No-Snagg" sinker! On our last day of the trip, I was lucky enough
to drift by and catch my biggest walleye to date. While only measuring 28
1/2 inches, she weighed in at 10 lbs. 2 oz.. I released her to grow up a
bit and will get a replica made to remember it. Thanks again for a great
product and I'm already looking forward to my next trip on the water!

Persistence Pays!
Here is five year old, Paul Stevens, with his last catch of the day…After spending the day bream fishing with his brother and the sun setting he had to “use all my worm” on the way home and made one last cast with his fluorescent Bubb’lgum cork shinning in fading light. Suddenly he yelled my corks gone!!! I got one and drug this one all the way to bank before letting big brother help him pull him up. This bass weighed in at just over 8 lbs. This little guy lives to fish just like his brothers, all four of them! |
Miltona Action WeekendRecently I had some pals come from Wisconson to fish for a few days, we used the Lindy Jig Spinners and Minojigs tipped with the tinytails and Little Joe Mighty Minos, We trolled these rigs in 10-15 foot of water and caught Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie, Blue gills, Perch, and just about any other fish you can think of. We also were fishing on Lake Miltona with the wind 20-30 mph out of the south. I have three of the Drift Controll drift socks and with out them we would have had to fish the calm side of the lake where the fish seemed less active. Using the GPS to check our drift path I would set out the Drift Sock and use the trolling motor to keep us right along the edge of the weeds. many times we had all three of our rods bent with a fish on. Here are a few pic's from the weekend... Matt Friend of Wisconsin with a nice Bass from this set up...

Thanks to Drift controll and Lindy spinners, Plastics, and Jigs our weekend was full of action. Kevin Winkler | Buck-a-Boo Walleye
On July 9, I was fishing for muskie at Lake of the Woods in Ontario using a new MG Buck-a-Boo that I purchased on the way to the lake at Gander Mountain. Instead of a Muskie, I caught a 29" walleye. My hand scales read 9.5lbs. What a trophy! Of course I released her to fight again another day. Thank you Lindy Tackle. Denis Viscek | Lindy Rigging for Muskie? | | Jon Solseth with his monster 60+ pound Muskie caught on a Lindy Rig and 4# test line. Truly an amazing feat that could be a new light-line record. |
Dear Lindy, I wanted to applaud you for the strength and durability of your Lindy Rig Spinner snells. Recently on a trip to Minaki, Ontario I was pleased with the success the spinners were affording us for walleyes. What I was surprised about was the strength and durability it had in helping me land the fish of my life time. While walleye fishing I hooked, caught and released a nearly 58 inch (29 inch girth) Muskie on a Lindy Rig. I was amazed that the line did not break under the weight and pressure of this enormous fish. The snell had to be cut in order to release the fish. Your product is OUTSTANDING and I will always "sing the Lindy praises" for your tackle. You are a great company and I appreciate how your workmanship, engineering and attention to sportsman's detail continue to assist all fisher people to improve their fishing experience. Regards, Jon Solseth | Steelheadin' with Genz Bugs | | Here is a nice steely caught using your jig head made into a marabou jig! |
I would like to thank you guys for an amazing product! This year I started using your Techni-Glo Genz Bug jigs in size 10. I use the glo red and natural glo colors to tie my small marabou steelhead jigs. Lets just say, this is the best product for jig fishing I have ever used. The glo, colors and shape of the actual jig head are amazing. My favorite feature on the jig is the hook you use. Its strength and ability not to dull is incredible. I have never lost a steelhead to a bent hook on your Genz Bug jigs, and when I get snagged, the hook will not dull. I don't know how you do it. This is the jig head I have been hunting down for years, and is now my secret weapon! Thank you very much, and keep up the great work. Jordan Wheeler

First Muskie
This 36" muskie was caught by my daughter Cora (age 9) on May 28th. Wisconsin's Muskie opener. Caught on her third cast off the dock as I was preparing other lines to go out in the boat. She fought the fish all herself and I netted it with a Beckman. Also notice the hat I'm wearing.
She is very proud of releasing the fish and now this is my second daughter hooked on muskie fishing. Thought you might want to hear about another success story with a Beckman net. Jeff Bourbonais |
Fishing Voyageurs
I just wanted to say "thanks", for helping our guide service get hooked up with Lindy Little Joe. Your products have been well used this season, as we've done more fishing trips than ever.....thank you!
....and your Max Gap Jigs have been good, but are starting to be in full swing....these were caught on the orange/white (Citrus Chub) 3/8 oz. within 1 minute of each other last week. Thanks again!
If you are ever in the area, or are interested in fishing Lake Kabetogama, or the area...give us a call and we'll take you out.
Thanks again,
